Therefore, if Strategic Health Solutions needs to do X-rays, decompression, or any other services they will need to be paid out of pocket. For example, adjustments, Medicare patients, and Medicare replacement plans will usually have an $8 to $20 co-pay. For example: Medicare services include:

• Medicare Exam – $25
• X-ray per area – $30
• Additional modalities – $25

When you receive additional services that Medicare doesn’t cover, patients are required to sign an Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN). To clarify, the ABN is a letter stating that Medicare may deny covering certain services, and the patient is responsible for payment.

Keep in mind, that Medicare has an annual deductible that needs to be met first before they pay anything. As a result, this year $233 has to be met as a deductible.
